[...] Balsamo's pictures are not then pages from a diary, an accidental, chnce diary, of course,
but, I would like to say, something as prearranged graphical-formal performances, at the same time
consciously improvised: a sort of free but also oriented music derived from free jazz, creating a
sound which is rather predictable but always different and surprising.[...]
